The claim is consequential because its target is a sitting (former-sitting) head of state, because the issuing body claims recent combat experience against US forces in Iraq and Syria, and because the framing travelled through state-aligned amplification networks faster than any Western wire moved to confirm or deny it. By 22:04 UTC, Al-Alam had already framed the offer in near-adjudicative language: a "reward" for killing Trump, structured in a way designed to attract would-be attackers as much as to make a political point.
